Inshape Indiana's black & minority health fair a success

INDIANAPOLIS (Press Release) - WISH-TV & MyINDY-TV were proud once again to be a part of this year’s Inshape Indiana Black & Minority Health Fair at IBE’s Summer Celebration. Each year, thousands flock to the Health Fair, where they can receive more than $1000 worth of free health screenings for everything from HIV to cataracts.

A number of our on-air staff was on hand to meet and greet our viewers and to sign autographs.

Our behind the scenes staff and community volunteers also pitched in to help welcome guests and to register them for exciting games and prizes.

The Indiana State Department of Health said initial reports indicate that attendance was up this year and that the number of free screenings had increased as well.

WISH-TV has been a sponsor of the Health Fair for more than 15 years.
